Are they interested in joining a running club at Symmes Elementary?
If the answer is YES, we invite you to join our boys & girls running club
sponsored by the Symmes PTO for students in 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade.
• WHEN: MONDAYS from 3:45-4:45 PM during October and November. Our first meeting is Monday, October 12, 2015. The following week we’ll meet Tuesday, October 20 (Note: No school on
Monday, Oct. 19th) & then resume to our Monday meetings.
If it rains we will run in the gym and hallways.
• STUDENTS MUST BE PICKED UP PROMPTLY AT THE CONCLUSION OF
RUNNING CLUB IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE!
Children interested in this program are encouraged to bring:
• water bottle
• nut-free snack
• wear running shoes & running clothes to school
• Be sure to send in a PARENT COMMUNICATION FORM for transportation and sign-in &
sign-out purposes for the safety of our program. Thank You!!
• This is a volunteer lead program with guest appearances from Symmes teachers and
running coaches within the Sycamore School District.
• Space is limited and registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
